Teaware (Gaiwan) For centuries, Chinese tea has been brewed in small Yixing teapots or in bowl-shaped cups called Gaiwan. Some tea connoisseurs reputedly use different pots for different types of tea as this is said to draw out the best flavor of the tea. Heighten your experience with these teaware.
Very good set for the price; the gaiwan beautiful, suitable size and relatively easy to handle for a beginner like me. A nice bonus: the set included matching drinking and aroma cups (very small - 40 ml).

good points: thin, translucent porcelain and cap fits tightly.
bad points: the decoration isnīt very well drawn - some lines overlap in the scroll work.
Structurally, Iīm very satisfied with it. As for the decorations, they need better workmanship for me to be impressed with it. Basically itīs a good, daily gaiwan. Donīt think Iīll want to use it as a gift though.
