a light macadamia nut taste with a lightly sweet wild flower aroma. The sweetness is mild and soft that builds on the sides of your mouth very quickly.

Dry leaves have a deliciously sweet smell. The tea is full flavored with little astringency. Very good, but I doubt I would buy again due to the price. |

This tea is in fact an authentic Long Jing and it was very fresh, even though it was from last year´s crop. The taste was sweetly vegetal with nutty notes and a lingering finish. The mouth-feel was slightly thick and there was just a tough of astrigency. I did at least five infusions in a gaiwan and all of them were equally flavorful. |

The tender buds of this tea have a purple color to them, and the dry leaves (two leaves and bud) look similar to bamboo. This green tea comes from the Guzhu village, in ChangXing County, near Huzhou City, in the Zhejiang Province. Another early harvest tea, the Purple Bamboo has a deep, floral smell, with a delicate, slightly grassy taste with no bitterness. A hint of sweetness on the finish makes this an excellent, premium selection. |

Reminds me a bit of Xu Fu Long Ya, but with a more vegetable taste. I enjoyed this tea very much, as did my friends. |

This tea tastes similar to the popular chinese green vegetable, pea sprouts. Not my favorite, though the tea has a subtle fragrance after each sip. This tea isn´t too bad, but nothing special about it either. |

An excellent green tea from Eastern China. Beautiful green buds. The taste is light, fresh and clean. With a fine and pleasant grassy note. One of my favourites. |

This 2012 crop is excellent. The taste is refreshing and is purple bamboo at its finest. Brewed the same tea leaves more than 5 times with out any taste of bitterness.
I will for sure order more. |

This tea is sweet and light reminiscent of prickly pare fruit. |

One of the best teas I have ever ordered from TeaSpring. The smokiness only occurs with the first infusion, is not unpleasant, and gives the tea strength and character. The fruit fragrance to me is the mild astringent quality of the brew-similar to the sensation in your mouth after eating a lemon slice-the tea dries, cleans, and refreshes the inside of your mouth. Beautiful fresh buds. The second infusion was perfect-clean, fresh, and sweet in a beautiful light green liquor. The is a great tea for those who want a tea with a pleasant grassy and vegetal quality. Overall, the tea has that characteristic classic taste of teas from Eastern China, which is sweet, clean and refreshing. This is a great quality product. |

A nice tea to have, it can be compared to a lower grade of Xu Fu Long Ya. |

The quality of this tea is great and very fresh. The brew makes a very light jade cup and you can infuse several times. |

I grew to like this tea but it never completely satisfied me. A little too grassy imo. But if you brew it just right, its a good tea. |

One of the best green teas I´ve ever had. Marvellous vivid green and fragrant tiny buds. Subtle vegetable taste of Xu Fu Long Ya with a hint of pleasant smokiness. Thank you Teaspring for sharing whith us that kind of quality. |

Really strong, vegetal flavor, even weedy., alfalfa-like. I can see the quality of this tea, but it´s not my cup. |
