I can taste both the green tea and the jasmine in this JBLC, which can take numerous multiple infusions. The brownish brew is not bitter or astringent and very satisfying. I like both the JBLC and the Te Ji Pearl Jasmine, which I have also tried and like very much. If you are looking for lighter and creamier taste and a stronger jasmine aroma, then the TJPJ is great choice. If you are seeking a medium scented tea with a more pronounced greener grassier tea taste, I would recommend the JBLC. Growing up, I remember drinking jasmine tea that resembled JBLC, rather than TJPJ, so JBLC brings back nice childhood memories. Regardless, I like both the JBLC and TJPJ. The JBLC is a wonderful product and I highly recommend it! |

I´m on a tea-tasting adventure here, to try everything without pre-judging based on tea I´ve gotten from the grocery in super-dry, ground-up little bags.
Green tea has never been my favourite type...white is my preference. And I´ve never liked floral notes that much...´fruity´ is what I enjoy. But I wanted to try all the most famous Chinese teas.
This seems like a very high quality tea. The jasmine scent upon opening the package is HEAVENLY. Still, even for people who love green tea most, I think there might be some things to turn them off, which is why I give this four stars instead of five. The first is that this is a jasmine green tea, and the flavour is 90% jasmine and 10% green, which I think may be a little TOO floral even for those who like floral tones in their tea. To me it tasted like perfume. The other reason I feel justified in taking a star off is because my throat hurt after I drank it. Is it somehow acidic? Because my throat is still stinging.
Well, there it is...a review on a floral green tea from someone who doesn´t like floral tastes or green tea (unless it´s fruity). If you´re the sort to only read the review at the top of the page and mine is the one you see, PLEASE scroll down until you find one by someone who is a special fan of green teas. They should be able to judge the finer details better than I. |

This is a lovely tea, color of infusion is darker than other green teas. Has a very fresh jasmine scent, will order again. |

Tea is a little too light, and a little too floral for my taste. I think the jasmine overpowers the taste of the tea itself. All-in-all, I don´t think I´ll order this one again, but that is why I bought the sampler size - because I never tried Jasmine Bi Luo Chun. I think I´ll stick with regular Bi Luo Chun. |

This is in my opinion the best jasmine tea from teaspring. The jasmin is very well combined with the tea leaf and results an excelent tea. |

This is such a lovely tea. I served it to friends who were expecting the stuff you get in Chinese restaurants. They were amazed. |

The color of infusion is darker than that of the plain Bi Luo Chun. I like the pure fragrance and taste of the plain Bi Luo Chun better. |

I think this is the ideal jasmine tea. And I don´t usually like cold tea, but this one works if done right |

I am new to tea so take this for what it´s worth. If you follow proper brewing instructions this is wonderful, smell and taste. In fact, you can taste the aroma of jasmine. Very delicate tea flavor |
