very nice tea. It has a nice flavor and a good aperance. I like the way the leaves stand verticle when steaped. Flavor reminds me of chui ya |

One for my besr friends´ favorites. Glossy and bright buds have a fresh flavor and scent somewhere between asparagus, pine, and mint. |

Taste profile is correct: refreshing, minty, very clean taste and lingering aftertaste that sits on the tongue, almost like a tingling feeling. Unfortunately, I detected only a weak fruity taste and an insipid orchid floral aroma only on the very first infusion. The tea, however, is extremely fresh and very green. My major criticism stems from a personal preference for more interesting nutty, floral, and vegetal notes, which other
TeaSpring green teas exhibit, such as Gu Zhu Zi Sun, An Ji Bai Cha, Lu An Gua Pian, Long Jing, etc . If you want a more interesting green, you will probably need to opt for a higher price point or choose a different green tea. I found this tea a little on the simple and plain side. I am, however, still giving this tea a five star because it is true to its product description-a bright, light, and refreshing minty tea. |
Kei (9/15/2009) |
good green tea with vegetal, slightly smoky taste with a dry and fresh finish. very good |
Sergio (8/14/2009) |
This is a fine tea! At first I thought it was only average until I tried it with more leaf weight per brew - wow. It has a complex flavor and leaves a sweet lingering aftertaste. |
David (7/7/2009) |
good green tea without any special taste. . |
Christian (7/1/2009) |
Good enough, tried it once and stopped from there, that smoky taste just didn´t cut it for me. |
Daniel (6/19/2009) |
Despite an initial dry-leaf aroma that I must admit brought to mind hot dogs...after four or five tastings I like this tea. It´s fairly subtle and although I don´t get much of the mint aroma there is definitely a pleasant fruity aftertaste, like peaches or grapefruit. Also along the grapefruit line there is a certain pleasant bitterness in the taste. Not my favorite but a good tea. |
Ian (6/16/2009) |
I like the powerful and BBQ-like scent of the dry leaves. The aftertaste is special : somehow between hay and mint. However, the mouth feel is a little weak and not as sweet and refreshing as other green teas here. I still give it 5 stars because it is IMO an excellent value for the money. |
Étienne (4/25/2009) |
I love this tea and i will surley be ordering this again. |
Robert (4/18/2009) |
Leaves look beautiful, but the flavor and aroma are both weak. Okay for the price. |
Fan (8/14/2008) |
The smell reminds me of hay. The flavor did not sit well with me either. I can´t point to anything specifically I didn´t like. I won´t be drinking this often and wish I had only bought 25 grams. |
joshua (8/6/2008) |
I did not get into this tea as much as others I have tried. Maybe it was how I brewed it. Dont get me wrong, it is not a bad tea. And I cannot pinpoint what it was that I did not like the most about it, but it did not win me over. |
John (11/6/2007) |
A solid green tea. Attractive leaf, good for multiple steeps, delicate and flavorful. |
Stephen (11/4/2007) |
(2006 crop) I don’t personally get the minty aroma but I do get the sweet aftertaste. Another one of my favorites. Very good to steep on a summer day in a clear glass where the leaves can be seen, the tea leaf dance is beautiful. |
Wanda (6/3/2007) |
a bit smokier in both aroma and flavor than I was
expecting. that said, it was still a nice tea experience.
1st steeping is very nice. |
William (5/31/2007) |
Nice, rich flavor with roasted overtones. I liked it very much, but not as much as some other flat roasted green teas you have available. |
Richard (5/30/2007) |
This is a very satisfying tea. Has a unique flavor that I find appealing. A tea that is full in flavor. The dry leaf has nice aroma. Hard to describe this tea, but if you like a tea that is full in taste as well as interesting, this might be your choice. |
Ryan (5/25/2007) |
This tea does not taste the same as I imagined. A little bit bitter with green grass smell, someone may like this style. |
Xiaojun (5/15/2007) |
Lots of tea oil make this one interesting/ notable. The flavors are all subdued, but quite varied... peach, cassia, green bean. It seems easy to brew, and changes a lot each steeping. I was hoping for more expressive flavors. However it is not a disappointing tea |
martin (4/23/2007) |
Nice looking leaves. The aroma is very fresh. The flavor is quite enjoyable with a nice peach like essence. A good tea at a good price point. |
Ryan (4/9/2007) |
A very nice and rich like flavor. |
Ryan (3/9/2007) |
This was one of my everyday tea selections due to the attractive price point...but it is also a very good tea and offers the drinker a robust flavor profile. |
Chip (3/2/2007) |
The aroma was rather subtle, but very good. This is a pleasing, traditional green tea. |
David (1/22/2007) |
Loved the taste |
Toni (1/20/2007) |
This tea has a beautiful appearance and I suspect there is a lot of good here, but I found it difficult to bring it out. |
Jennifer (1/4/2007) |
Excellent tea... |
Erik (1/1/2007) |
I found this very tricky to brew. Strong astringent aftertaste. Lightly floral and sweet by second and third steeping. Easy to under steep and easy to over steep. Very good if you get it right. |
JOHN (12/22/2006) |
Fantastic tea. Fine quality |
Erik (12/3/2006) |
particulary fresh and floral.
Realy excellent. |
Ricardo (10/5/2006) |
Good |
GIOVANNI (9/18/2006) |
Very fresh tea !! Nice fruity aroma and long lasting aftertaste.
Multiple infusions possible, nice color, very good for this price.

Kim (9/5/2006) |
This tea is excellent. It has quickly become one of my favourites. I only gave it 4 stars on my last review, but that was a huge mistake. I was to hasty in passing my judgement. This tea has a rich taste, it can easily be brewed 4 times without loosing its flavour and the price is very reasonable. Try this one, you won’t be dissapointed! |
Erik (7/25/2006) |
Very fresh and mild green tea, as you expect from this kind of tea. While very plesant, flavorful, and relaxing, it lacks complexity of high quality green from Yunnan, or even some high quality maofeng style greens from the same province (Zhejiang). Select tea according to your taste rather than how famous it is... I’d give it 4.5 stars. |
Ryuji (5/30/2006) |
Offering a pleasant aroma and a contrasting mildly sweet taste in an easy to prepare tea, it would be hard to go wrong with this tea. |
Chip (5/15/2006) |
pretty good. floral, sweet and a little pungent |
Silas (5/2/2006) |
This is very good. A great tasting tea, with great aroma and a rare freshness. |
Erik (4/26/2006) |
Swiss Chard, Kale, and Turnip greens but sweeter. Very flavorful, although not forgiving. Careful with the steep if you don’t want it over steeped. |
Silas (3/12/2006) |
Love it |
David (2/4/2006) |
Lovely tea with a pleasant aroma and color. Very refreshing. |
Christine (12/2/2005) |
Truly wonderful tea! The price is good and the tea is good. I find this tea simply wonderful in every respect, especialyl its fresh aroma and good balanced brew. This makes a great daily tea or an ocassional green tea, really great. |
Alexander (10/8/2005) |
I find this a very refreshing tea. Thoroughly enjoyable from the first sip to the last! To bad that my friends didn’t get to try any of this one because I liked it so much! The aroma is sweet and uplifting, as is the taste. It will not dissapoint. |
