This tea is made from the most nutritious skin of buckwheat plants that are grown at 3000 meters above sea level in the pollution free environment of Gao Han district. The buckwheat plants had extended ripening period up to four months to allow the flavors and nutrients to grow, before the skin is removed, grinded and rolled into pellets. This processing method is an ancient recipe passed down from Yi Minority tribe in China. The skin part contains nutrients that are easiest for our body to absorb. Buckwheat tea is known to help to control obesity, stress, high blood pressure, and cholesterol.
