Roselle are wild-grown flowers usually found along the side of pure and unpolluted hills and gorges. This tea is common in European countries and also in South East Asia, where it is called "Oriental Beauty Fruit" due to its reputation for promoting good skin. Roselle is also known for its ability to dispel the effects of alcohol and amends circulatory insufficiencies. Other names: Eggplant Rose, Hibiscus Sabdariffa, Mei Gui Qie Taste: On its own, this tea tastes sour - to very sour if over-steeped. We recommend adding a bit of rock sugar to it or blend it with a black tea. This tea serves well hot or cold. Appearance: Dried dark red Roselle Rose. Origin: An Hui Province |
