This has become one of my favorite teas - I doubled my order this time. Green, vegetal a full, bodied flavor. |

Reminds me vaguely of the base tea used in a Genmaicha i used to have.
Agree with the description it does share some similarity with Jap tea, just warmer and a little more bodied.
All in all not an outstanding tea but highly drinkable and enjoyable. |

Wow! This reminds me in some ways of a mild oolong, and it has a definite sweetness when it hits your tongue. |

A typical light bodied green tea. It was sweet and grassy, other than that there’s nothing else for me to add… |

Medium floral orchid fragrance with an extremely grassy and vegetal taste. A strong tea that can get bitter and astringent on you, so be careful. The tea leaves are beautiful thin needle leaves. Very nice green tea. |

a good smooth chinese green tea. no special taste, also no vegetable taste. no bitterness |

i like the slight smokiness, but i wanted more out of it. just not enough to push it to an excellent tea. Very good nonetheless |

Enjoyable, very well-made tea with considerable character and complexity, though somehow it doesn´t excite my palate as much as the Yang Yan Gou Qing or even the basic Long Jing. Chacun a son gout? |

excellent green tea all around, with very beautiful leaves. In my opinion it isnt very especial but its quality is excellent |

Very nice aroma while brewing. The taste is similar to Japanese green teas. Has an astringent quality if brewed too long or with too much tea. Color is yellow with hints of green. Overall, an exciting tea to drink. |

Totaly surprised - new taste for green tea - refreshing hint of lemons, lingering in the mouth aftertaste. Great for hot summer! |

I don’t know about its medical values, but I can tell you that this is a very good green tea. |

This is a very good tea. I would characterize it as exotic and it’s a nice change of pace. It has a note of olive in the taste and something I interpret as a sort of exotic fruit in the flavor. Nice aroma while brewing. A fresh and unique tea I’m glad to have on hand. |

The aroma of the leaves is a bit flat but the brew itself is good with a slightly bitter but not earthy aftertaste. Good for a fine second infusion. |

I find that it is unusual to be able find find so many high quality fresh tea (spring) from one site. The discription of the tea is well researched. So far this is the best on line tea store I could find for quality, service and value. Thank You. It is also fun to learn more about tea on you site.

This tea has a nice slightly sweet vegetal aroma with a mild pungency. The flavor has sweet vegetal nuances but is distinctly astringent and smokey, which is not my favorite character in a green tea. However this did not offend me and the combination of flavors is actually rather pleasant. This is not a mild tea, but full of character. |
