this tea is remarkable-enjoyable to sip-proper brewing and rinsing is for best cup of tea-fine tea | michael (11/18/2009) | The aroma of the leaf in a heated gaiwan is dry and vegetal slightly smoky the taste is refined and beautiful with floral vegetal and smoky notes. | Scott (9/28/2009) | Very light and delicate, but with surprising depth.
The more I drank it, the more I appreciated this tea.
Although I canīt give it all five stars, 4 1/2 definately. | Ted (9/22/2009) | Delicate, light, floral, with hints of vegetal notes. Later infusions produce a sort of a clean high grassy almost citrus/lemony taste. Very little nutty taste but some creaminess with later infusions. I find that even when I use a large amount of leaves, the taste remains delicate and subdued. Beautiful leaves. Overall, I find it has a lovely, pleasing, and fragrance that is unique and which I have not encountered with other green teas-orchid-like but different somehow-perhaps these are the magnolia notes. The overall taste is complex yet extremely delicate. An interesting and lovely tea. | Kei (9/18/2009) | Gives of a sweet, light and complex cup, floral with a hint of smoke. | Daniel (8/26/2009) | I leave you will this small passage I wrote... hope this returns to you, what I have found in your teas. "Unable to be captured" Like the cherry blossom, we can only admire what changes inside nature, as it slips into another stage of life. Mysterious and unable to be captured,
the petals fall to their death. The hand reaches, but only one shall fall upon the earth to begin again. Their is only one season before death, who here will die alone never knowing the plight of life, lead by natures own flower? Copyright Đ2003 Robin R. Bolt | Robin (1/20/2009) | Very light in color and flavor, I tried adding more leaf and a longer seeping time and it really brought out the taste. High quality tea. | William (11/17/2008) | This is a great tea even for the price. Exactly as described on the website. | joshua (10/22/2008) | We found this to be an excellent and unique tea. Very slight tender asparagus notes on the nose when smelling the jar. There is also something else. A little floral? Maybe. A little vegetal? I think so. This one I will defer to the experts. The taste is very tender and creamy. There is a nice roundness and some lovely higher toned quasi-veggie aromas, and while green, the taste is also ripe. A slight smokiness? We think so, but definitely prepared with care and skill. The leaves are beautiful and bright and there is a great downy appearance. We canīt compare this tea to any other we have drunk before. It is very pleasurable and is a good quality to price ratio as the level of complexity and refinement is very high. We are thankful for the opportunity to drink it. An excellent offering. Thanks, Mike and Traci. | Michael (9/23/2008) | this is one of the best green teas that I have ever tasted. its sweet and very complex, very light in color, and the buds are really beautiful. A must try for green tea drinkers | Sergio (11/15/2007) | good as usual. nothing more to say................. | Michael (10/31/2007) | as before | Michael (11/25/2006) | Worth the price ! | Michael (9/27/2006) | As this tea was brewing, it offered me a sweet, floral fragrance that I found to be quite unique. The flavor and aroma of the first infusion was soft. As the second infusion was brewing the aroma was much more pronounced and different from any tea I have tried previously. An extraordinary tea experience to be savored. | Chip (9/8/2006) |
