A lovely tea with a lovely name, Yi Jian Zhong Qing literally translates to "Love at First Sight" and what a fitting name indeed. When steeped, the tea ball opens up to release a pair of Jasmine flower string, which seem like a couple lovingly staring at each other. In the middle is a Red Globe Amaranth flower, representing the love. The base is made from jasmine-scented Yin Zhen (Silver Needle) tea leaves. Other names: Love At First Sight Taste: Strong Jasmine-sweet taste with a hint of nutty flavor. Appearance: The tea ball is oval in shape and is made by tying Yin Zhen tea leaves, Jasmine and Globe Amaranth flowers together with fine strings. When infused, it slowly opens up and blooms into the beautiful flower display tea. Origin: Fuding, Fujian Province Harvest Period: 2008 |
