This tea is OK but probably will not order it again. It did not meet my expectations for a Mao Fend tea. It certainly was not worth the price I paid for it. | dennis west (12/19/2010) | Refreshing with no sign of bitterness, it wasn’t spectacular, it was good. It comes with a nice looking canister. | Daniel (6/18/2010) | This tea has a strong, sweet taste. I am a bit disappointed due the lack of subtleties in flavour, this Guo Bin Li Cha had a quite simple taste. Aftertaste is lovely, soft and lasting. | Jesse (6/15/2010) | Good taste and good aromat with good history :) For me this tea, when you look for it, have something similar to An Ji Bai Cha. | Lukasz (5/18/2010) | Very light, fresh, unique aroma (like greenbean juice), the infuion is clear... Really suitable for someone who doesn´t like bitter tea | Susany (4/22/2010) | It is high-quality tea. As I have noticed, the third tea leaves not so such good. Accordingly, not the maximum rating.
| Vladimir (3/13/2010) | Sofar the best Huang Shan Mao feng I have ever tasted, it is silky smooth, with a creamy texture, very elegant floral taste, reminds me of bamboo and peaches, when I made the root of the tea the parfume rose up from the cup, the leaves look similar unbrewed as when they are brewed, they are as if they had been freshly picked, similar to it`s natural appearance, this is a caracteristic of the real HSMF, brew it right, do not cool the water in a separate vessel, remember the temperature of 70 - 80 C must be reached in the gaiwan not in the kettle, so I recomend very thin high quality porcelain gaiwan (preferably Jingdezhen) for this tea. I am honored to drink such great Anhui teas, all are so diffrent from each other and all are great. | Nagy (10/27/2009) | Refreshing with no sign of bitterness, it wasn’t spectacular, it was good. It comes with a nice looking canister. | Daniel (10/26/2009) | Delightful and fragrant. If I didn´t drink so much Long Jing, I would go for this. | David (10/4/2009) | Although I have a moderate experience with green tea, I could definitely not find a way to extract any taste whatsoever from this tea. Frankly it was basically like drinking pure hot water whatever I did, and I experimented a lot with quantities and water temperature. Although my past orders on this site corresponded basically to what should be expected, this one did not. It´s by far the worst tea I ever ordered from teaspring.com, *definitely* not worth the price. It does *not* correspond to the quality advertised. | Joao (6/20/2009) | Nice light taste. Fresh and very sweet. I hadn´t had such a good chinese green for a very long time.
A quality and freshness impossible to find in my local tea stores. | Olivier (5/9/2009) |
